Sarah’s 3rd class getting ready to support Aghada in the final next week!!🟢⚪️🟢⚪️
🟢⚪️🟢⚪️We need your help - and your flags! As you know our hurling team have reached the Sciath na Scol final on May 24th, and we want to paint Aghada green and white in advance of the final to show the boys the whole parish is behind them!
Please dig out any green and white flags, bunting, posters etc you might have at home and get decorating those fences, walls, gates, trees, cars...the possibilities are endless! Be seen, wear the green!! 🟢⚪️🟢⚪️

Well done to all who cycled to school today as part of #nationalbikeweek, great to see our bike shelter so full! Hopefully the weather over the coming weeks will improve to allow for lots more cycling to school! 🤞😎🌞🚴♂️🚴♀️

Our annual Scholastic Book Fair has arrived in Scoil Íosagáin! It will run from today until next Tuesday. Parents and children are welcome to visit the book fair every morning from 8.45am in the Community Hall. All classes will visit the book fair each day and can purchase books if they wish.
The book fair will also be open to parents of infants at 1.40pm daily if they wish to pop in after collecting their child.
The money raised from the book fair is used by the school to purchase new books and update classroom libraries.

All Ireland Celtic League Winners with Cork East Robert Dean, James Hurley, Samuel O’Driscoll & selector Ger Sheehan along with Cork minor Seán O` Callaghan visited us on Friday. Past pupils Seán and James both represented the school with distinction every time they wore the Scoil Íosagáin jersey so it was a pleasure to have them back inspiring the next generation. Thank you for visiting boys! 🟢⚪️🔴⚪️

The final will be played in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on the week beginning Monday May 20th or 27th. Thanks to all parents who supported or helped out today.
